Incognito Entertainment was an American game development studio based in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was founded in 1999 by Scott Campbell, a former developer of SingleTrac, and among its rank the studio included creative director David Jaffe, co-creator of Sony Interactive Entertainment's Twisted Metal and God of War franchises.
Shortly after Campbell founded the studio, Incognito signed a publishing deal with Sony, which previously employed SingleTrac. With Sony, Incognito released several new entries within the Twisted Metal series, most notably 2001's Twisted Metal: Black which garnered critical acclaim and strong sales. The studio also worked on original properties such as War of the Monsters and Downhill Domination, both which received favorable reception.
Sony acquired Incognito in 2002, and in 2005 the studio became a member of Sony's Worldwide Studios. In 2007, the studio developed a reboot for SingleTrac's Warhawk, which received positive reviews. The same year, Jaffe and Campbell left Incognito. The remaining staff of the studio continued to maintain Warhawk until the studio's closure in 2009.
