Predator: Hunting Grounds is a 2020 asymmetrical multiplayer stealth/first-person shooter video game developed by IllFonic and originally published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. Versions for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, published by IllFonic, are slated for 2024 release, with IllFonic taking over publishing duties for all versions of the game. It is based on the Predator media franchise.
Predator: Hunting Grounds features an asymmetrical multiplayer gameplay in which players can either play as one of four special operations soldiers or as the eponymous hunter alien. Objectives alter depending on which role the player is assigned, shifting between completing missions as the human soldiers or hunting them as the Predator. It features cross-platform play between PS4 and Windows.
Announced in May 2019, Predator: Hunting Grounds received mixed reviews upon its release in April 2020, with some ranking it among the worst games published by Sony for the PlayStation 4. While some praise was given to its concept and the Predator gameplay, critics generally criticized the visuals, performance issues, unbalanced gameplay, lack of content and price tag.

Liam Croft of Push Square noted that "there's a lot of work that still needs to be done" in regards to the gameplay, and noted that the weapon loadouts were either "far too simple or worryingly broken", describing the whole affair as a "clunky" experience. He also criticized the framerate and enemy AI, but expressed hope that IllFonic "has time to make things right".[2]
