Marvel's Wolverine (also referred to as Wolverine PS5) is an upcoming action video game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5. Based on the comic book character by the same name, Wolverine is a spin-off to Insomniac's Spider-Man series, and is set in the same universe.
Wolverine is the second Marvel Comics property to be developed by Insomniac Games after Spider-Man. Development on Wolverine is headed by directors Brian Horton and Cameron Christian, who previously worked together as the creative director and lead designer of 2020's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Wolverine was announced in September 2021, alongside its sister-game Spider-Man 2 (2023). In December 2023, Wolverine was the subject as a massive data leak suffered by Insomniac.

Release[]
Wolverine was announced by Sony and Insomniac during the PlayStation Showcase presentation, in September 2021.[1] In December 2023, the story outline and script, footage, concept art and development progress of Wolverine were leaked as part of a massive data breach conducted by a hacker group on Insomniac Games.[2] Insomniac addressed the data breach on December 22, 2023; the company promised to share new details on Wolverine in due time.[3]
