XDev (formerly known as XDev Europe) is a British development studio and production team owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment and operates under its PlayStation Studios umbrella. Originally part of Studio Liverpool, the team was established in 2000 and became its own entity in 2012 following Liverpool Studio's closure the same year.

XDev serves as the primary collaborator for various first- and third-party studios who partner to develop exclusive titles for PlayStation consoles. As part of its services, XDev offers full production, management, funding and game design support for their partners' projects, as well as community support, online support and publishing.

Notable collaborators of XDev included Sumo Digital, Lucid Games and Supermassive Games, and they also collaborated with past partners such as Quantic Dream, Climax Games, Novarama and then-independent first-party studios Media Molecule and Housemarque.

By May 2021, XDev expanded its operations beyond European partnerships, combining duties previously handled by San Mateo Studio, Santa Monica Studio and Japan Studio's External Development Team under the XDev brand.[1]
